Initial Reflection (August)
Exploring readings for our first assignment lead me to constant branches of new and interesting articles and sites online, often leading me off track from the task at hand. I believe this is common for online learners. Last session I realised I needed a permanent place to keep these awesome resource links and began the practice of “bookmarking” essential pages that would become my references for all things TL related. My bookmarking has expanded widely already as I continue to discover the practical benefits of this subject. I believe these discoveries will become vital references to my professional practice in the future. I feel like I am a sponge seeking and absorbing everything I can to better inform myself and develop knowledge and skills that will help me better serve my school as a qualified TL.
