Welcome to my blog!
I have commenced my Masters of Education (Teacher Librarianship) at Charles Sturt University. I am very excited to be starting this new journey. Libraries has always been one of my favourite places to visit since I was a child. My dad encouraged me to read from a young age and I become a voracious reader. So much so, that I read every book in the children’s library of my primary school! Back then (really, I’m not that old!), school libraries were quite small. My dad then took me to Dymock’s every Saturday where I would purchase a new book to read. I still do this often! For myself and my kids!
I have worked in many roles over the years, teaching, corporate marketing, training coordinator and financial services. I am hoping to combine all of the skills that I have learned in these roles and put them to use as a teacher librarian!
Please drop a line and say hi! Or make a comment – I’d love to hear from you! If you are studying as well, good luck and remember we are all in the same boat!
