Yesterday I started my virtual placement. So far it has been incredible, exploring the resources and infromation that the site has access to. I am really proud of how I have begun my projects for the host. I set up a timetable for myself to ensure I did not get complacent with timing, this has been successful so far and has also kept me from stying on the one activity for too long.
I have five areas to complete an activity for each, they are:
- Book Week
- Research
- Reading
- Curriculum
- Administration
Book week has been the easiest for me to take to. The creative nature of the task has allowed me to delve into areas of interest. Whilst I am hoping I can do I mock up of the display this may not be possible due to the current climate.
I am creating some short videos to accompany some of the projects, so far I have struggled with these becuase, as it’s school holidays in NSW, my house is too loud. I have to wait until the house is quiet next week in order to complete these to a standard I am proud of.
Looking forward to the next 3 weeks (I can only work part-time ue to family commitments).
