I am not currently employeed in a library and have very little experiences in the context of the library (a few casual days early in my career and using the library services in my teaching). I understand resourcing and enjoy that greatly, however there is a large gap in my knowledge about the daily running of the library. Whilst I know I want to work in a school library, being able to experience libraries from different contexts would be an exciting experience, with so many diverse information services available.
I want to understand the different programs initiated by libraries and why they work in the context of that particular library to better support people into the future. I also want to know what has not worked and why.
