ETL402 Literature across the Curriculum
This is an elective subject in the Master of Education Teacher Librarianship.
ETL402 focuses on the role of the teacher librarian and the use of literature in education, particularly in enhancing student learning outcomes, long-term reading motivation and life-long learning. The subject examines important theory and research related to literature; the diversity of literature and multi-literate environments; and the impact of social and cultural influences on literature. This knowledge will be used to inform the creation of literature and reading experiences across the curriculum to demonstrate how school library services can enhance literature practices in the school community.
A word about referencing
Generally it is not acceptable to reference the Module material in assessments, as this is a summary of sources; instead, go to the actual source (journal article, book chapter etc) and reference that.
However, as these Podcasts represent a primary source, you are permitted to reference them. If you do wish to reference material from any of these podcasts, please follow the APA7 guidelines for referencing podcasts outlined in the CSU referencing tool. The recording date for each podcast has been added to the relevant page.
