For Assessment item 4 – Original content: Video, we were asked to create a short video and upload it to a public viewing platform and write a reflection.

Currently, in Victoria we are in stage four lockdown, meaning we can’t leave the house, making my subject matter for a short film somewhat limited so I decided to follow some of the things I might do to occupy my time in “A day in the life” style video.

For filming, I used a Canon camera, a tripod and often a roommate. We took a collection of shots of me doing various things that I might do throughout an average day during Covid-19. I used some props like a typewriter and a skateboard. Once I’d finished filming the visuals, I then wrote a script and recorded myself reading it using Spreaker.

Due to the fact that the MPEG file was too large, I wasn’t unable to directly link the video to the blog. So there is a hyperlink up the top of this page to my Youtube video.
