Dr Joshua Ralston of Edinburg Divinity School will present the first Theory Time of 2020 at CISAC. As a continuation of the previously covered Comparative Theology (delivered by Francis X Clooney of Harvard Divinity school in Theory Time series), Dr Ralston will explore the Political Theology in Christianity and Islam within the Comparative Theology context. 

Dr Ralston is the author of forthcoming book Law and the Rule of God: Sharī‘a in Christian-Muslim Debates (Cambridge University Press, 2020) and co-editor of the upcoming Cambridge Companion to Islamic Political Theology. He has also published Political Theology in Arabic.
