For this assessment, I chose the topic of midwifery. Midwifery is what I hope to be my future profession so I wanted to share some information about it. The process started by researching some general notes on midwifery as well as a couple of fun facts. It was then time to gather my notes and start the recording process, I quickly realized how awkward this would be and also just how much I did not like hearing my own voice. After this awkward recording process, I managed to put it into iMovie and chopped it up until I liked the sound of my notes. I am pretty skilled in iMovie as I tend to use it a lot so I found this quite easy. I then found some copyright-free covers of my favorite songs and put one behind my voice. I adjusted the volume so it wasn’t too distracting and lined it up for some fun music at the end of my recording. Afterward, I began to upload to SoundCloud with a cute little artsy baby pic to represent midwifery, I kept the picture artsy so that it would match the aesthetic of my blog. I personally found this process really fun and didn’t find it too challenging thankfully.
