Reflection:
The objective of the activity is to introduce the work and duty of teacher librarians, as well as the qualifications and requirements for teacher librarians. With an aim to understand the issues for teacher librarians in school library working environment, I attended this activity. The presenter’s experience is valuable and useful, which gave practical suggestions and insights to help me to plan of my career pathway toward librarianship, such as what the characteristics and abilities for teacher librarians and linked to his experience to improve work performance. I was inspired by the presenter, especially the part on image-building. It is important to for librarians build our professional presences because we can easy to convince the patrons to trust you and smoothen the working process. These management and leadership experience are crucial for my future development.
