Time Management

To meet deadlines on time, it was essential that the team was able to effectively manage time. By ensuring time was used efficiently and tasks are planned based on the time constraints our group was able to meet the deadlines on time. To achieve this we employed multiple time management techniques, including:

  • Time action plan – This was effective to help plan out the big picture of the challenge. By assigning tasks with set deadlines, we could ensure work would be completed on time.
  • Meeting agenda – By having specific question, ideas or things ready to be discussed we could ensure that meeting time wouldn’t be wasted.

These are some examples of our groups time management, evidence of each technique is below.

Meeting agenda

“Agenda for the meeting – Discuss our assessment item 2 brainstorm for the needs of Cape York and use that to determine a design focus area (brainstorm attached), start developing ideas ( we need 20 ideas in total for the assessment) use these ideas to start screening process and start the table on the assessment template.” – From Team Tree Kangaroos meeting 14/04/2020
