My name is Claire and I am embarking on a journey to study a Masters of Education to become a Teacher Librarian. It could be a bumpy road as I attempt to challenge myself academically whilst navigating the world of parenting two young children. A favourite author of mine once said “I began to realise how important it was to be an enthusiast in life. If you are interested in something, no matter what it is, go at it full speed. Embrace it with both arms, hug it, love it and above all become passionate about it. Lukewarm is no good.” – Roald Dahl. In the absence of actually being able to hug anyone because #socialdistancing, I have decided to hug my passion for teaching, learning and libraries and dive head first into the world of Teacher Librarianship.
