In the recent years, huge development and innovations were made in the intelligent object world for the home needs. The usage of such gadgets was deployed to ease the communication takes place between people and home duties. The migration to the smart systems such as IoT technology will reduce the man power and also improves the security. By timely alerting of the users can be helpful to take sudden actions and also people can be able to know the disaster that are going to occur in prior by adoption of the IoT in the home.

Background

The adoption of the IoT in the smart homes can be able to keep track of every minute changes occurs in the every individual life. The sensor network placed in the home engaged in monitoring and delivering the details of atmospheric condition to the house owners. If there are any abnormality found, then respective alert send to the owner to take the immediate action. The chosen project is workplace based project and undergoing the research on this topic can provide the various benefits to the end users. The smart homes become trend in the future and thus consideration of the security aspect is essential (Vasanth, 2020).

Project Aim

The intention of undergoing the research study is to adopt the IoT to monitor the atmospheric conditions and activities happen in home in remote manner via internet. The home automation system can offer series of benefits to the end users in both safety as well as security. The main objective is to analyse the benefits and challenges evolved with usage of the IoT technology in the home. The academic research papers reviewed for gathering such information and solution provided by those authors also analysed for finding the right solution (Peter, 2020).
