About Me

Hi all,  I am Sachini Gunawardana (11797997) who is studying Master of  Professional Information Technology at Charles Sturt University. I  have a strong background in Java and Python software development.  I have 4 year experience  in various tools and technologies, including micro services, REST APIs, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Selenium, Junit, Git, and Agile.  I am  currently working as a Data Engineer  specializing in data integration, SQL queries, and business intelligence environments, data analytics.

Project

Since  I am passionate about data analytics, data integration and AI, I selected this project where I can apply my software development skills and data analytics skills.

Project Title: A dashboard to predict mental health disorders using NLP and Machine Learning by analysing social media texts.

This project aims to develop a dashboard using R language, Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques to analyse social media texts, identifying mental health conditions.  Mainly, people can identify the mental disorder by entering social media text using the proposed dashboard.
