Sebastian here, and I’m a passionate person who wants to use electronics, programming, and data science to solve problems. The project I’ll present here is extensive research on driving behaviour, which is crucial for intelligent transportation systems.

A significant amount of data must be gathered for intelligent transportation systems. Offering remarkable insights and solutions for driving behaviour analysis (DBA) can be done by processing and analysing the data collected. Characterizing driving behaviour is essential for a number of purposes, including risk assessment, energy and fuel management, automated vehicle development, traffic safety, and driving identification and profiling.

Driving profiling is still an idea in need of development; it relates to driving behaviour or style, using a combination of machine learning techniques, and scores the driver for various purposes.

This investigation will demonstrate how driving habits can contribute to road safety by ranking trips using a smart driving style profile base on machine learning techniques that takes into account factors like speed, acceleration, deceleration, car distance, and driver schedule. I’ll try to build an internet of things (IoT) device to gather these variables over two weeks, which will be fed into machine learning techniques and displayed through a mobile app to provide trip rank. The application will be focused on new drivers to assist them in the learning process, and at the same time contribute to the challenge to keep the road safety
