  • L2: I am learning to locate information sources using a range of tools and techniques to improve your searches including boolean search operators and filters.
  • L3: I am learning to use SCRAPit or SIFT to evaluate the quality, relevance and authority of an information source.
  • L4: I am learning to reference other peoples ideas and works using APA 7 Referencing style.

The Research Process

Research is an iterative process. It flows back and forth as we process, engage and reflect on the information we gather and explore (NSW Education Department, 2015).  It can be organised into 6 key stages. Each page of this digital research guide will mirror these states so you can easily navigate this process.
