This blog will see myself completing a range of professional development activates which relate to Children and Young People Services (CAYS).
The professional development activities will relate to four topics which are
- Censorship
- Diversity
- Young People’s Book Awards
- Digital materials/resources and emerging technologies
I will critically reflect on these activities and highlight the gaps in my knowledge which have been filled by these activities. This will consist of me stating what new ideas these activities have presented and how these new ideas have reshaped my previous knowledge on the subject.
I will also critically reflect on how the information in these activities relate to my own professional practice and how I can use the ideas being presented to improve my own professional practice. This may consist of the types of programs ran for children and young people or how the new ideas presented can restructure current programs to improve the development of children and young people.
