Hi there! I live in Brunswick with my beautiful husband and gorgeous 7 year old son. I love spending time with my family, delicious food, reading in the sun and listening to records. I love singing, playing piano and being in the garden with a cup of tea. I love exploring new places and travelling. Experiencing ‘newness’ and being part of a wider world has fuelled introspection within me and really made me who I am.
I have been a Performing Arts teacher for the last 13 years and have loved the challenges, creativity, play and vibrant experiences that I have had in this sphere. I have loved the performances, working in creative teams of dedicated staff and seeing students step out of their comfort zone and grow. I have felt however, for the last few years, that I am ready for a new adventure. The next big life step.
So, I am embarking on a new career direction this year studying the Masters of Education in Teacher Librarianship. Eek! I am studying gently and slowly so I still have space to play, think and have my cups of tea in the garden but I am excited and ready for this new challenge. I feel alive, engaged and I can feel my brain expanding already! I am looking forward to sharing this journey with you.
