Connections and friends in the TL community

What has made the most difference to me in this course is the connections I have made. During this course I have made connections through friends, through ‘in the zone’ meetings and through the study visits.

The creation of a message group has helped immensely through all areas of my learning. From asking questions about subjects and assignments through to Book week resources and ideas.

The most important part for me is the positive talk and encouragement. We all want to best for each other and really push each other to do our best in the subject and through our TL life.

I believe this is an important part of this degree and career- to make connections with those outside your school and create Professional Learning Communities (Pentland, 2023; Hermon, 2022, 22 Jul).
