At this point in the subject think about strategies to take you from TL, the keeper and stamper of the books and the quiet space (library) (how many of our colleagues perceive TLs), to become something different. Make a set of notes using your new understandings to support your arguments and conclusions.

TL as middle leader

• be visible- be interested in all aspects of the school, be a part of all of sport and show your interest in the school
• model best practice- make teaching and learning programs, and assessments, that model best practise.
• contribute to teams- be on the literacy team and the ICT team
• PD for staff- team teach with staff to model how to use technologies, organise PD for staff about new technologies.
