Learn how to assess and update collection development policies, including the processes used to review resources and the selection aids used for acquisition. Prioritise and manage the weeding of resources.
Increase reading engagement and equitable access to programs: Liaise with internal staff, and external organisations to develop school and local community programs that actively promote literacy, literature and positive reading cultures. Offer greater diversity within reading materials, book clubs, special events, and readings challenges to cultivate a love of reading.
