About Me
Hi my name is Liam and I am currently conducting the Pathways Course at CSU. I’m 39 years old, married with a 20-month-old son, so some would say I’m a little too old to be blogging.
I currently live in the Australian Capital Territory but due to my 19-year career in the Royal Australian Navy, I have pretty much lived all over Australia, with Cairns being my favourite place to live.
I want to do a Bachelors/Masters in Policing (Investigation) and given I haven’t studied in about 21 years I thought doing the Pathways Course was a good first step. I decided I’d try and do the Pathways Course full time and I’m starting to realize that doing four subject in on go is very hard to keep up with, when managing work and family life as well. At least doing this course has giving me some insight on not to take to much on when doing a Bachelors/Masters. The four subjects I’m doing are Introduction to Digital Literacy for online learning, Preparing for University Study, Academic Literacy and Introduction to Mathematic. My favourite subject at the moment is Introduction to Digital Literacy for online learning because it has a lot more practical online activities than the other subjects.
I love all sports, but I mostly love watching the Basketball (Go Cairns Taipans!) and the Rugby Union but it’s has really been hard to watch the Wallabies the past few years.
