Overview:
At the age of five, Jazz Jennings became one of the youngest known people in the world to identify as transgender. She later began appearing on television with her family to talk about the challenges of growing up transgender. Her memoir, written at the age of 15 and read aloud by Jazz herself in the audiobook version, reflects on how her very public experiences growing up transgender affected her. Jazz has faced bullying, discrimination, and rejection, but has had family and friends on her side throughout this journey.
