Overview:
Summer camps are meant to be fun, and Charlie, who loves the outdoors, is excited to embark on an all-girls Christian camp. But when she arrives, Charlie realises that she is the only black student in the group. Charlie is also queer, which makes it even harder to fit in with the rest of the girls. She starts to doubt herself and begins to confide in God. As the backpacking trip progresses, Charlie is forced to deal with the unwitting racism and homophobia of the rest of the group by herself, until she meets Sydney, a trans girl who feels similarly alienated.
