Serverless Computing has been an area of study among many researchers since its introduction as an emerging standard for the deployment of services and applications. It serves as a progression in Cloud platforms, programming models, deployment services by assuring an absolute pay-as-you-go pricing criteria with granularity in milliseconds. It is considered as a developer’s boon as it reduces their responsibilities like scalability and operational complexity by delegating them to the cloud provider. Its deliverability comes at the expense of restricting functionality up to an extent. This project aims to identify the finest Serverless Computing Provider in the current industry (AWS Lamda, Microsoft Azure, Google cloud, IBM (Apache OpenWhisk, etc.) by comparing their key characteristics, general architecture, pricing structure, use cases. Data shall be gathered from various Journal Articles, Industry reports, Technical Blogs, Conference Presentations and Documentation of the leading providers in the market. After accurate evaluation and analysis of the findings, the project intends to deliver a conclusion to the above research question, which is to be presented as a part of final report and presentation.
