The wind started to blow as soon as we woke, we ran around and closed all the louvers and my husband dragged the outdoor furniture to a safe place out of the wind. We soon noticed that little Lulu the black cat somehow escaped and was out by herself in the wild weather. Her brother Floyd was in quite a state, pacing the floorboards. There was nothing to do but wait it out and stay inside, I felt like Dorothy the moment when Toto runs off into the tornado.
Rather that fret, I started my Literature Review, looking at Censorship and the role of the TL. Future proofing too- weathering the storms ahead, like making sure we are prepared for what’s ahead.
I managed to write 1200 words 🙂 Feeling rather proud of myself and while I busied myself the cyclone passed.
BTW Lulu came back!
Happy weekend everyone and if you’re from Darwin, I hope you were ok today!
Jane
