I agree with Karen wholeheartedly, when she says “you will only be and endangered species if you allow it to be”.  This is a profession that some see little value in, people are very capable of making up their own minds from their own preconceptions or experiences.  We are not doing our students or the profession any justice by sitting back and letting them think that way.  We cannot expect a change if we are not prepared to be a part of that change.  There is a great potential for TLs when we keep in mind the 5 Finger Plan, she refers to, for us as individuals to bring strength and justice to our profession.
