Critical and Creative Thinking

• Inquiring – identify the most important information by exploring the resources in the pathfinder provided. Organise the information that you find to answer the assessment questions on the daily life of Ancient Egyptians.

• Analyse the information provided in the pathfinder to draw conclusions to answer why you have chosen the specific level of the Ancient Egyptian hierarchy.

Literacy

• Compose a written response to complete the assessment task. You will have an opportunity to create a LEGO piece in the extension criteria.

Investigating with ICT

  • plan your information searches
  • locate the nessessary information
  • select and evaluate data and information.

Teacher Subject Level – Year 7 Subject – History Topic Area – Ancient Egypt focussing on the roles of key groups in ancient Egyptian society (such as the nobility, bureaucracy, women, slaves), including the influence of law and religion.
