Well what do you know there is more to the World Wide Web, though I’m not surprised. So I have recently leaner that the Web has stages of how it is used. We are currently using Web 2.0, it is a more interactive Web. Tools that use Web 2.0 are things like Facebook, Youtube and Instagram. I’m going to focus you Facebook as its the one I’m most familiar with. I use Facebook as a form of entrainment, like tv, but it also allows me to keep up to date with family, friends and topic I’m interested in. For me its great I like how I use it, however for my partner it is a cause of much frustration. We run our business mostly online and advertise on Facebook which is where a lot of problems pop up. From waiting for post to be approved and being flagged by the Facebook algorithm it starts to really get under ones skin. In saying that we have gained many sales from our Facebook adds so it isn’t all bad.
