Over the weekend I completed my report, created a PowerPoint deck and recorded my presentation using Zoom. This marks the conclusion of my project.

The journey over the last few months has been very enjoyable and rewarding in running my own research project on a topic of my choosing. It has taught me a great deal in developing a structured methodology in refining my research skills. Thank you Ken for your guidance throughout this process!

As we approach the final week, I am in now in the final stages of closing my project. The final draft of my report is now complete in IEEE format and I am working on my final presentation seminar. I’m looking at different ways to do the presentation with tools like PowerPoint and Zoom.

I had a look through the IEEE templates and selected the IEEE Letters of the Computer Society word template. I also started writing the content of the final report and worked on collecting some additional resources to get to a target of around 24  articles.

The annotated bibliography has now been completed and submitted. For the remainder of this week I will make a start on the final report. This will require some additional literature to contribute to the content of the report, aiming for around 24 articles in total.

The focus of this week is to work towards finishing the annotated bibliography which is due next week. Upon review of some of the articles, I decided to swap out some articles to provide a wider range of perspectives on the topic to include in the annotated bibliography.

After collecting a series of journal articles, I found that it came to a point where a lot of the articles discussed similar concepts and theories. To find more unique material, I started reading some grey literature from commercial vendors blog articles and general websites to find different keywords to find additional journal articles around my project topic.

Since I had a head start on Assessment 3 a few weeks ago, I decided to take some time out and utilise the break to go on a road trip. Over the next week I will aim to read a journal article each night and do an annotated bibliography to work towards completing Assessment 3.

Due to the Easter break, I used this week as an opportunity to spend time with Family and Friends.

This week I completed my project proposal and continued finding articles. I started shortlisting some of the articles that will be included in the annotated bibliography that show a broad range of theory’s, innovations and explanations of the modern threat landscape.

This week I collected some more journal articles and started putting them in EndNote. I then started re-reading the articles and commenced the annotated bibliography for Assessment 3 . This helped with writing the preliminary literature review in Assessment 2 which is due on Friday this week.
