Reflection of activity

The objective of the activity was to let participants have better understanding of paper conservation treatment. I have attended the tour because I wanted to explore how paper conservation treatment be done at conservation lab. After the tour, I understood the characteristic and conservation principles of paper. Also, I learned there are two instruments named leaf casting and conservation machine which used for paper conservation purpose. The learning outcomes benefited my study about conservation of books. I will keep the paper conservation principles in mind when I need to handle damaged books in my workplace.
