My name is Poorni Tishara Hettiarachchi and I am following a Master of Information Technology at Charles Sturt University. The area of my specialization is business analytics. I chose a topic of the utilization of IoT for management of crops as my research topic. I did my research of the bachelor degree in agriculture field. So I would like to apply that knowledge for my masters to achieve an ultimate outcome. Hence Internet of Things (IoT) is a very hot topic in information technology sector in nowadays. The enormous benefits of IoT such as an ability of transferring data over networks using digitalized machines without human to human and human to computer interactions leads a high popularity of IoT. As well it is a novel trend that use of applications of IoT for the Agricultural tasks to obtain a better harvest. Therefore I prefer to quest about the utilization of IoT for management of crops.
