We are excited to welcome you to the first term of the QUT e-Grad School, a flexible, online learning platform dedicated to fostering research excellence. This is a unique opportunity to enhance your research skills, gain insights from industry experts, and network with peers.

We recommend studying one or two modules during a term, to manage your workload effectively. On completion of each module, you will receive a Certificate of Completion.
Financial and Legal Concepts for Researchers
Learn how to navigate the crucial financial and legal elements of research projects, including the different funding environments and how you fit in. The module will also examine strategies to find and apply for funding, completing contracts and the practical aspects of costing budgets.

Explore how your research may have commercial potential and increase your knowledge of Intellectual Property and commercialisation models in the research environment. You’ll connect with potential collaborators and discover who your end-users are and how you might be able to meet their needs.
