The School of Nursing, Paramedicine and Healthcare Sciences, within the Faculty of Science and Health, successfully hosted its first HDR Symposium on 27 June, centred around the themes of Excellence, Support, and Collaboration. The event brought together 46 participants and showcased 22 high-quality presentations, offering a dynamic platform for HDR students to highlight their research achievements. The symposium was exceptionally well received, with evaluation feedback highlighting its value as a forum for academic exchange, peer learning, and constructive feedback. The event also fostered meaningful connections between HDR candidates and academic staff, strengthening a culture of support, collaboration, and scholarly exchange within the School.

Congratulations to Luke Mark, Louise Wells, Ann-Marie Brown, Deborah Magee, Janna Taylor, Alicia Carey, Ash Gallagher, and Stella Lee, the recipients of the Excellence in Presentation Award across the categories of Senior and Early Researcher Groups, Research Concept, and HDR Students’ Choice.
