This Award recognises outstanding research undertaken by a Higher Degree Research candidate who has submitted a thesis or creative work for examination between 2023 and 2025. In addition to the winner, up to three commendation awards (in total), will be awarded across Faculties and Institutes.
The Vice-Chancellor’s Research Excellence Awards honour the outstanding achievements of Charles Sturt University researchers by highlighting groundbreaking research that advances knowledge and makes a significant societal impact.
Of course, you can also recognise the valuable support and guidance you gained during your candidature from your supervisors by submitting a nomination for the Higher Degree by Research Supervisor of the Year! Read the Nomination Guidelines for more information.
If you are now staff, submit your nomination through the RED Gateway, the centralised platform for recognising achievement at Charles Sturt University.
If you are an HDR candidate (i.e. non-staff), please submit your completed nomination forms to: DeanGradResearch@csu.edu.au
