Introduction to Coding for Researchers
Learn about the web development languages HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It is a practical module. While getting to know these languages, you will be building your own website, creating an online career portfolio which includes tables, quizzes and webpage layouts to promote your research and future publications.
Leadership and Communication
Become a better leader through clear communication. explore the key concepts of leadership and communication and considers how this information can be contextualised in your own research environment. We will also explore ways to translate knowledge of leadership and communication into better self-management and professional engagements.
Mental Wellbeing for Researchers
Explore how, why and when your mental state may affect you and also those around you. This module will provide you with basic strategies to support helpful thinking habits, raise awareness of mental wellbeing issues, and understand where to access further help and how to make your research journey stronger. You'll learn how to recognise the early signs of mental wellbeing at risk and how to apply tools for maintaining your wellbeing beyond the research time.
Write your journal article in 12 weeks
Gain practical experience writing a research article for a peer-reviewed journal. Participate in a focused and supportive learning environment and turn a draft paper into a quality article to submit for publication. Get your publication written and submitted to a journal by the end of the module. Stay focused and engaged in a step-by-step process. Receive feedback from other researchers as you progress your writing

NEW: Develop strong feedback skills by completing this self-paced module and attending online live workshops.
