Which author visited your school?
I am still on a high from Book Week… As our school’s TL, I was (still am) super excited to have had the opportunity to organise the learning experiences for the week. First, an excursion to the local library for Kindergarten and Year 1, where they got to immerse themselves in the CBCA shortlisted books and activities; I invited author Simon Mitchell to our school for Years 3-6 (entertaining and informative); and I orchestrated our Book character parade. Stage 2 and Year 2 classes created Chip and ‘floating hot-air balloons’.
Overall, we had a blast and escaped to everywhere!
Wow Haydee, sounds like a great week was had by all.
