Just did my orientation with Barbara.  Lots of wonderful information to try and wrap my head around.

I really liked the pictures of the monkeys in the library.  A good image to get teachers thinking about what exactly it is that goes on in libraries.

It was also interesting (and a bit sad) to hear how some schools don’t really values their librarians.  This is something we have to change.  Librarians and Teacher Librarians (in my experience) are amazing, full of knowledge and a great resource.
