Project Brief

Title: Review of Augmented reality-based user interfaces for mobile healthcare of elderly patients

Abstract

Problem

The use of hardware technology in developing augmented reality-based applications requires huge costing to meet the expected application effects. The use of AR technology in various applications requires high-speed computational capabilities of image processing.

Background

The user interface is defined as a medium of communication between human and machines for information transmission. Augmented reality-based user interfaces are helpful in enhancing the human-computer interaction in mobile healthcare for the care of elderly patients.

Aim

The main aim of this study is to review the augmented reality-based user interface that is used in mobile healthcare for elderly patients.

Deliverable outcomes

This work will provide a detailed description of Augmented reality-based user interfaces that can be used for mobile healthcare of elderly patients. This study will provide information about the effectiveness of AR-based approaches that can be used for elder healthcare.

Resources

Resources required for collecting the data for the review work includes the CSU library database. For collecting the relevant data, databases such as IEEE, Taylor & Francis, ScienceDirect, and Springer will be considered for data collection.
