About
Student Teacher Librarian Journey
Reflection neatly dots around the learning curve like perforation on an student’s excursion note. This blog’s fuzzy dots chronicle my journey to a more clearly defined Teacher Librarianship role. As we board the bus for the learning journey, I hope my reflection will explore critical thinking and analysis skills, evaluation and ultimately the ability to articulate who my persona will be as a completely informed, educated and qualified teacher librarian.
I have a love of learning. For over a decade I have been a secondary teacher. In 2019, I started a Masters in Education (Teacher Librarianship) to foster and evolve that love of learning, literature. I am looking forward to new doors opening.
As a Novocastrian, I relish coastal and country living alongside the conveniences found in a city. Diverse but mostly country person – I have enjoyed in my spare time; pottering in my backyard with my partner; completing house renovations; caring for our free-range chickens, vegetable patch and cats; making cold process soaps; and visiting the beach as frequently as possible.
