Educators in the region need to not only be aware of the impacts of culture on online learning, but must be working towards finding or even creating new practices. Being aware of how students communicate and their percpetions towards online learning needs to be addressed by desiging new learning management systems and using a blended learning approach. Teachers in the region need to be supported with professional development to extend their digital literacy skills and concerted efforts need to be taken to create and distribute culturally relevant learning repositories with quality learnning objetcs.  Students, teachers and educational leaders and policy makers each play a pivotal role in the success of online learning in the UAE. Although the UAE has taken many steps towards online learning there should be more of an empahsis on collobation between profesisonals within the region. The UAE is on an exciting journey towards embedding online learning pracitces into its education systems.
