What is Study Break?

As we know studying for a career degree can be challenging and demanding, requiring many hours of focused study, often resulting in, many students feeling exhausted and unmotivated.

As a university student it is easy to overlook and forget about the importance of balance, relaxation and sense of community. This is where our small community group can help! 🙂

How can we help?

Us as a group, can encourage students to take the opportunity and step away from their books and screens, encouraging them to connect with their peers and recharge their intellectual batteries. Our aim is to emphasise that looking after you emotional and social needs is just as important as your studies.

18 Examples of Social Clubs

What will we offer?

As a social club, we would like to provide our club community with a range of activities, in a 6 week schedule. Throughout the 6 weeks, our activities will range from productive study sessions to relaxing, mindfulness sessions with a couple of social events as well.

All social catch-ups will be on a zoom meeting for those studying online, with one face-to-face meet-up on campus.

Reflection

During this assessment, I feel relieved to submit something to show that I have attempted to completed this assessment. I really struggle to use ThinkSpace – Blog as well as breaking down these assessments in this subject to full understand what needs to be done.

In relation, to the assessment, Lucy and I had great fun doing this assessment and thinking of all the fun things we could join throughout our time at university. We tried to relate back to how we felt throughout studying our Pathways Course online, as we would love to mingle with our peers who are studying the same course as us.
