Making this video was not the easiest of tasks. Filming the screen recording for Minecraft’s gameplay was fun, however, everything after required quite a big of work.
I used Windows Movie Maker to merge my video clips together and add the sound. Music came from an online site called Bensound. With Bensound I found a great soundtrack called Slow Motion, that was remarkably similar to Minecraft’s original music, which I did not include in case of copyright problems. All sound is myself and allowed music.
The thumbnail video was a personal image from my gameplay.
Originally going into this I had over 30 minutes of recorded video and cutting this down to be under 5 minutes was hard. Then fitting my narration around was complicated. There was many things I had to cut out to make the video into the time frame needed. These included shots of different biomes, under water life and the caving systems.
Using Windows Movie Maker, I used animations to make the transitions between videos glide smoothly. Uploading said video to YouTube was time consuming and I did get worried in the end that it would not be up in time.
