An updated version of the Academic Integrity Policy at Charles Sturt University came into effect on 1 July 2020.
Academic Integrity is a critical part of university study, and something we take seriously at Charles Sturt. It’s all about knowing how to complete your research, when to include references, and making sure you’re completing your own work.
We’ve developed a short subject called Academic Integrity at Charles Sturt University to help get you up to speed. It’s offered online and will take up to 2.5 hours to complete, including five short quizzes.
The subject covers:
- What is academic integrity?
- How do I show academic integrity in my preparation?
- How do I show academic integrity in my work?
- How can I feel more confident about academic integrity?
- How do I deal with more complex situations?
Academic Integrity is a mandatory subject for all Charles Sturt students. If you’ve completed the Academic Integrity subject since late February 2020, you will not need to complete it again. If you completed a previous version of the subject prior to late February 2020, you will need to complete the new version.
The new version will help you learn the importance of maintaining ethical standards in your academic and professional work. This subject is an important part of meeting Charles Sturt’s regulatory requirements and ensuring you understand your academic obligations.
Block out some time now to complete the subject and the five short quizzes at the end. Then you can tick this off your to-do list and be better prepared for the academic requirements of your course.
