In 2020, Engineers Without Borders (EWB) has partnered with the Centre for Appropriate Technology (CfAT) to encourage student engineers from around the world to develop appropriate solutions and technologies to current challenges that are being experienced by indigenous communities living in the Cape York region.
CfAT has established a range of potential projects with a strong focus on the challenges that aboriginal people are currently experiencing when living on Country and caring for the land.
