Reading these can help you to build Ethical Understanding and meet the success criteria of ‘I can show understanding and kindness to people who have had a bushfire in their community.’
Fabish: The horse that braved a bushfire by Neridah McMullin. This book is based on the true story of a horse called Fabish who helped foals from his farm survive a bushfire. It is included in the 3-4 booklist for the Premier’s Reading Challenge which shows it is easy for you to read and a good story (NSW Department of Education, 2018). It can be found at JF MCM.
