As I continue to read a think about what the role and untimely the end goal of how and what the library will look like, I consider the quote from Levitov (2012) in Module 6.1 that states that advocacy is “on-going process of building partnerships so that others will act for and with you, turning passive support into educated action for the library program.” This exemplifies the idea that a TL will lead from the library making it a learning hub and safe space for students and staff regardless of their position in the school.
In my current role I can see the role of the TL being a leader from the middle really coming to life as I am slowly given more opportunities under different leadership styles to develop programs and support staff and students from across the school in a variety of situations.
