This week, I rewarded myself for submitting assessment 2 before the due date and took a break for a few days. Back on track around mid-week, I started to organise my Zotero files and added another few articles to my list. I feel confident to have enough resources to start on the annotated bibliography and Key attributes and classification tables.

Week 5
Week 5 was for sure the most stressful one since I was almost ready to submit my assignment 2 when we received a new email from Kenneth about what was expected from a good submission. I was happy to still have some time to update my final draft before submission. I realised that the Gantt chart I had made was way too detailed compared the the sample we received but I decided to keep my version as I figured out too much details can not do any harm and after all, a detailed WBS can help me stay on track with my project. By this week, I had more than 15 journal articles and I completed two literature reviews as was expected for assignment 2. I finalised the project plan and the ethical considerations and managed to submit the assignment on time.
Week 4
In week 4, after watching the weekly videos and completing the Gantt chart, I had a more clear view of what my project was supposed to achieve and look like. I worked on my abstract and added the ” keywords” at the end. I also reviewed my initial research questions and combined their concepts and came up with one final research question that I was happy with. There were some confusions about the research methodology that was most suitable for my project and I had to go through different resources to make sure that “literature review” is an acceptable methodology for the sort of project I am undertaking given the limited time frame. I found more articles to use and kept adding them to Zotero.
Week 3
The past few weeks have been quite hectic in terms of my studies and personal life and consequently, while I have been working on my project, I have not updated my blog. Tonight I am going to write about what I have been up to in the last few weeks.
In week 3, reflecting on the feedback from Kenneth to choose a domain area for my project, I decided to review the BEC attacks in universities and I updated my title to :
“Evaluating the Effectiveness of Multi-Factor Authentication and the Impact of Human Factors in Preventing and Mitigating Business Email Compromise (BEC) Attacks in universities”
I also downloaded Project Libre and familiarised myself with its menu using related YouTube videos. I started working on my WBS and the Gantt chart as well as an initial literature review on 5 articles that I have found so far.
