This project is focused on something close to my heart. How will AI impact and effect the traditional role of the ‘web developer’. This project will defined a web dev eloper and limit the scope of AI’s influence to this role only.

Investigate Artificial Intelligence Uses for Web Developers
Project Problem Domain
Web developers are being warned their jobs may become redundant with the emerging adoption of artifical intelligence to build web based sites, platforms and tools. This project looks at researching the validity of these claims and assessing the future landscape that web developers will have to adapt to, and the ways in which their roles may be transformed.
Background
I’m currently enrolled in Master’s of Information Technology. I have over 20 years experience as a web developer developing all types of web based solutions across many technology stacks. My particular interest is in programming, artificial intelligence and information security.
Project aim
– To assess the current levels of AI aodption in the web development field
– To look at the future ways AI will impact the traditional web development role
– To assess whether web developers will be enhanced or superceded by AI
