The initial steps for formulating my Master’s Thesis are laid out succinctly by my lecturer at Charles Sturt University. They are:
- Project Title: a short title of 12-15 words.
- Project Brief:
Abstract: a summary of your chosen topic in 150 words.
Background/Description: provide context for your topic.
Project Aim/Objectives: specify the goals of your project.
Project Problem Domain: explain why you are undertaking this project and what key research questions it addresses.
Deliverables/Outcomes: describe the expected results or outputs of your project. - Resources consulted: list the three or more sources you used for your research so far.
- Alignment with course or specialisation: Discuss how your thesis topic aligns to your Master’s degree specialisation.
