My name is Norbu Wangdi. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Information communication technology and currently pursuing a master’s degree at MIT. I have worked as an Assistant ICT officer.
The research topic I have chosen is in the field of the Internet of Things. I don’t have much knowledge or experience regarding IoT. Since IoT is an emerging technology that is applicable to almost every problem, I would like to gain most out of this project.
I am interested to become a Business Analyst after my master’s degree. Therefore, I am specializing in IT Business Analysis.
Feasibility study of IoT solutions to monitor the illegal logging in National Parks
National park conservation requires forest rangers to monitor – keep track of changes, effects from a particular threat, record biological data, ecological pattern changes, etc.
As we all know, one of the core requirements of national park conservation is maintaining vegetation cover. We will need to safeguard trees in the national park from cutting down illegally. Therefore, IoT based solutions can be implemented to prevent illegal cutting down of trees.
